WordPress Multilingual Plugin

Website-Translation

AST offers clients seamless WordPress translations via the WordPress Multilingual plugin. AST clients can now send and receive website content for translation directly from their WordPress CMS.

How does it work?

Pages for translation are easily selected via the translation management dashboard in WPML. Then as part of our partnership with WPML, the request for translation is automatically sent to our Project Managers. Our PM team then use our translation (CAT) software to analyse the content and generate a free quotation along with optimum turnaround time.

Our CAT software will also spot repetitions and TM (Translation Memory) matches and enable these to be reflected in lower overall pricing.

Once a workflow is established with the client, WPML’s plugin allows users to easily create nearly automatic pull/push translation pipelines between their WordPress CMS and AST’s translation teams. Clients can manage which content from their websites they wish to translate and into which languages, and can also track progress and add changes on the go from the WPML dashboard located within WordPress.

This multilingual solution allows seamless integration of clients’ WordPress content with AST’s specialist translation services. The WPML plugin creates the interface for managing the desired workflows. Overall, the service helps customers build time-saving translation workflows and streamline the process of creating and updating multilingual website content.

Seamless translation management and affordable pricing

There’s no longer any need for fiddly status-tracking spreadsheets or endless email toing and froing. WPML’s Translation Management lets you choose exactly which pages to send to us for translation and see their statuses at a glance. It also includes a wordcount tool to help you estimate budgets.

Getting started

To make the WPML integration work, you will first need a WPML Multilingual CMS or Multilingual Agency account: Purchase WPML. For step-by-step instructions on how to get WPML and AST set up correctly, follow this Getting Started Guide.

WPML and WordPress

WordPress currently dominates the CMS market. Nearly two-thirds of CMS users use the WordPress platform and it powers over 30% of all websites worldwide. With such a high proportion of CMS users having adopted the WordPress platform, the WPML plugin is used for streamlining workflows for the majority of multilingual content published on the internet.
