Michelle Ho

I joined AST Language Services in November 2019 and was soon asked to write a short profile for the website, which is never quite as easy as it sounds when you’re surrounded by people who are actually brilliant with words. While my colleagues handle the linguistic wizardry, my role focuses on accounts and office management: less glamorous perhaps, but essential, and exactly where I’m happiest.

Before joining AST, I spent several years in operations management at a leading university in Nottingham, overseeing staff, HR, procedures, and administration, and contributing to financial operations. With over ten years’ experience in accounting across a range of industries, and as a student member of AAT, I now look after AST’s accounts and help keep the business running smoothly. I like to think of it as quietly keeping everything on track behind the scenes—so everyone else can shine.
