We are expanding our network of freelance linguists and are looking for talented native Japanese English-to-Japanese translators to join our team:
To be considered, candidates should meet one of the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Modern Languages, or a related field, plus at least three years of full-time professional translation experience (or two years if gained in-house);
- A Master’s degree in Translation Studies or a related field, plus at least two years of full-time professional translation experience (or one year if gained in-house);
- A minimum of five years of full-time professional translation experience.
In addition, applicants should:
- Specialise in one or more of the following areas: engineering, finance, legal, healthcare/medical, or related marketing content.
- Be proficient in CAT tools and hold a valid licence for Trados Studio 2021–2024 and/or MemoQ.
- Demonstrate excellent linguistic, research, and quality assurance skills.
