Based in Northern Ireland, Jackson Reece have been caring to babies’ skin since 2003. After years of exhaustive research the company successfully designed biodegradable cleansing wipes and toiletries containing only natural and plant derived ingredients. This means all their products can be used on even the most sensitive skin, including eczema-prone, and they don’t harm the environment.
The Challenge
The client required packaging translated for foreign markets, in order to comply with market and regulatory differences. For example, specific wordings were required in Canadian French for compliance with packaging regulations for the Canadian State of Quebec. With regards to the Arabic translation, the client’s UK-based design team anticipated challenges with artwork layout due to the right-to-left text flow.

Our Solution
AST collaborated with Jackson Reece to translate the packaging of their main range of retail products into Arabic, Spanish, European French, Canadian French and Hindi. The AST team worked to ensure that all translations were compliant with individual foreign market packaging regulations. With regards to the Arabic translation, AST provided high-resolution scans of the Arabic texts showing the correct positioning of words and line breaks. All translations were turned around within 1-3 days.
